Details

This pattern was hand drawn, then using a Dremel, carved it using a void in the wood as the flower center and accompanied a split in the right leaf.  Minerals used include Calcite, dyed Calcite, Orange Calcite, crushed black stone, Sodalite, Blue Lapis, Turquoise stone, Flourite, Mother of Pearl flakes, Marina Opal, Aventurine, and Garnet.  The stem is Cherry wood flour.  The rim inlay has a piece of Maple veneer on edge as a wave pattern.  Finish is several coats Wipe-On Gloss Poly and top coated with Minwax Gloss Poly spray, each coat wet sanded.
